Their approach primarily focuses on small-scale batches, seasonality, and natural biological processes, something you won’t get with commercial beer brewers. The batch sizes range from 300 to 900 litres, and although they do warn that the traditional methods used may result in variation among batches, for many, this is what makes their products outstanding. All the beverages made at the Robe Town Brewery are free of preservatives.
Beer enthusiasts are invited to sample their fine drinks at the brewery’s tasting room. Book an in-depth tasting flight, which usually features ten to twenty various products, to experience a range of flavours while learning about the craft. Many of their unique products may also be found in popular establishments in Robe and the nearby areas, as well as Melbourne and Adelaide.
Aside from the main batch of beers produced, the seasonal releases are something to look forward to. Seasonal release beers include The Little Wild Muntrie, Solstice, and Equinox. The limited-release range includes Raw Sour, Monk’s Habit, The Stowaway, Farmhouse Red, Midnight Smooch, Hey Hay, Moby Dick Ambergris Ale, Sourfest, and Magic Mulberry.
The Robe Town Brewery Cellar Door is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10am to 5pm and Saturdays from 12pm to 5pm. It is also open on long weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
