Marist Park

Marist Park is a popular community and family park in Mount Gambier.

Because of its well-maintained grounds and cleanliness, it’s the venue of choice for numerous cricket events held during summer.

Residents can book the park for special occasions or community events. Activities that don’t require permits include private gatherings, birthday parties, getting together with friends, or wedding ceremonies. Otherwise, you’ll need to obtain a permit from the local council.

However, please keep in mind that using any materials that can pollute the environment or cause harm to wildlife are banned at all local parks. These include lanterns and helium balloons. Before visiting, check out the calendar of events because during major events some roads may be closed to the public.
