Mount Gambier houses some of the most amazing caravan parks around the gorgeous volcanic landscapes. Visitors looking for a unique accommodation option should consider the campsites located at the various well-known Mount Gambier caravan parks.
Amongst the different caravan parks located in Mount Gambier, the Pine Country Caravan Park sits atop the list.
Mt Gambier Caravan Parks, Holiday Parks & Cabin Accommodation
The Blue Lake Holiday Park is nestled right on the top of the Blue Lake and stretched over 27 acres of magnificently manicured gardens. The park has both camps and caravan sites, along with a number of amenities and activity options for guests. Accommodation options include fully-furnished bungalows, luxurious retreats, cottage units, budget holiday units and ensuite cabins.
Renowned as one of the more luxurious caravan park options, the Mount Gambier Central Caravan Park is located in the heart of town – near the popular shopping and restaurant areas. The park offers cabins, family rooms and also backpacker accommodation for guests.
Another popular accommodation location is the Limestone Coast Tourist Park. Set on 8 acres of gorgeous landscape, this park offers scenic views of the nearby countryside. Accommodation options include budget and luxury options; such as studio units, ensuite units, family and deluxe units.
I am looking for a holiday house with accommodation for five adults for two nights over the period between Christmas and New Year (27, 28 or 28, 29 Dec or thereabouts).
Hi Monica,
I have found a few great options for you for 5 people over Christmas:
1. The Barn Accommodation – Family Suite: Around $900 for two nights
2. Commodore on the Park – Three Bedroom House: Around $550 for two nights
3. Avalon Motel – Executive Family Room: $360 for two nights
My only other advice would be to book early, as there aren’t that many places in Mount Gambier which can fit a large group.
Have a great Christmas and New Year!
Jess
